rebecca clark, ms, lmft

Co-director

Rebecca became enamored with EFT in graduate school. She attended an externship with Dr. Sue Johnson, Gail Palmer, and Dr. Allison Lee in 2007. She is a certified EFT therapist and supervisor.

I hope to create a thriving professional group of clinicians dedicated to a warm, connected community where authentic learning, ongoing professional growth, and excellence in EFT is supported. With this, we can nurture our best therapist selves and provide excellent care to so many in need.

Julie Quimby, Ph.D.

co-director

Julie attended her externship in 2018 and Core Skills in 2019 with Jill Fischer. She is a certified EFT therapist.

From the moment I began my ICEEFT externship training, it was clear that the EFT community was unique and special. EFT therapists display a level of dedication and commitment to growth that I have not experienced in other professional communities. Indeed, there is an acute awareness about the importance of our work, and the greater mission involved in healing relationships. I feel very lucky to be a part of this community in Maine and to help support other EFT therapists.

carrie roberts, lcsw

director of communication & Outreach

Carrie fell in love with EFT after taking an Intro to EFT training with Paula Zerfoss, LICSW, in Freeport in 2013. She then completed her externship in Northampton with George Faller, LMFT in 2014 and Core Skills with Jill Fischer, LICSW, in Wellesley in 2017.

I am delighted to have the opportunity to work on the board directly with the growing community of EFT clinicians in Maine. I hope our Maine community can foster a strong network of therapists who can lean on one another as we practice and learn, supporting the couples in Maine.

andrea medaris, psy.d.

director of education

Andrea learned about EFT during her postdoctoral fellowship. She completed her externship in 2020 and Core Skills in 2021 with Dr. Kathryn Rheem of WBCEFT. She is a certified EFT therapist.

I hope to promote a community of learning in Maine that offers support and education to therapists and the couples they serve. EFT is a strong evidence-based model and it is also a way of being in the world with curiosity, humility, and ongoing evolution, and I hope to represent those values in my work with EFT-ME.
